NVIDIA has launched its new GeForce Game Ready driver for the latest GeForce RTX 4080 graphics cards, which also brings tons of new features and improvements for DLSS 3 games like Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morale. Let’s briefly browse through it.
In this update, the GeForce RTX 4080 receives all of the same advancements and innovations that the GeForce RTX 4090 has, which means users can now multiply frame rates with DLSS 3, encode video up to 2 times quicker with dual 8th gen NVIDIA Encoders, and also stream with 40% higher efficiency thanks to AV1.
Additionally, the new driver has support for the HDR10+ GAMING standard, DLSS 3 enhancements for G-SYNC and VSYNC, CUDA 12 support, 12 new G-SYNC Compatible gaming monitors, as well as 7 new GeForce Experience One-Click Optimal Playable Settings profiles.
Onto the next one, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morale is packed with PC-specific features such as DLSS 3, DLAA, Reflex, ray-traced reflections, and ray-traced shadows. And with the latest GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs, gamers will see over 120 FPS at 4K resolution with the power of DLSS 3.
As for gamers with previous-generation GPUs, they can also use DLSS 2 Super Resolution to see a 2 times performance increase at 4K resolution with max settings and all ray-traced settings set to the highest levels.
